It is based on the principle of <g id=\"gid_4\">additive color mixing<\/g>:<br>When red, green and blue light are combined, a variety of hues are created &#8211; right up to <g id=\"gid_5\">white light<\/g> if all three components are present in equal intensity. If light is missing in all three channels, <strong>black<\/strong> appears.  <\/p><p>This additive principle makes the RGB color space particularly suitable for <strong>sensors<\/strong>, <strong>cameras<\/strong> and <strong>displays<\/strong>. Here, colors are created by mixing <g id=\"gid_2\">cyan (C)<\/g>, <g id=\"gid_3\">magenta (M)<\/g>, <g id=\"gid_4\">yellow (Y)<\/g> and <g id=\"gid_5\">key (black, K)<\/g>. Instead of adding light, certain wavelengths of light are absorbed (subtracted).  <\/p><p>This color space is primarily used in <strong>the printing industry<\/strong> &#8211; for packaging, brochures
