Since its foundation in 2002, the Sibiu site has developed into a central component of the wenglor sensoric group. With over 300 employees and a production area of more than 5,000 m², Sibiu is now the group’s second largest site.
This is where smart sensors, high-precision systems and innovative software solutions are created – developed and manufactured with passion, precision and teamwork. The Smart Factory functions not only as a production facility, but also as an important development site where state-of-the-art technologies are brought to life.
At the end of September, not only lines of code and algorithms were honed in Sibiu, but also team spirit: The software development and software testing teams met for a special team-building event away from their desks.
After productive morning meetings, it was straight into the electric karting arena – and there it was time to put on the helmets, start the engines and step on the gas!
In several exciting races, the colleagues fought thrilling duels for the best time. There was laughter, cheering and excitement – all in the spirit of sporting competition and shared fun.
Whether on the racing line or when overtaking in a bend – the team spirit was palpable on every lap. This experience showed once again that dynamics, strategy and precision are not only important on the race track, but also in the daily cooperation at wenglor.
After the adrenaline rush on the race track, we went to dinner together, where the day ended in a relaxed atmosphere. Over good food and conversation, it became clear how important such moments are – they create connections, promote exchange and strengthen team cohesion.
