Precise object detection on difficult surfaces

The P1PH9 sensor reliably detects objects even if they have different structures, perforations or knotholes.

Thanks to its large, rectangular LED light spot, detection remains stable even with widely varying wood surfaces – a decisive advantage over conventional sensors with small, punctual light spots.

Advantage: The P1PH9 works reliably and error-free even with uneven, high-contrast or perforated materials.

Maximum interference immunity – even in dust and ambient light

Industrial environments such as wood or packaging plants often present sensors with major challenges. Dust, chips, light reflections and ambient light often lead to incorrect switching. The P1PH9 reflex sensor masters these conditions effortlessly.

With ambient light resistance of up to 40,000 lux – four times higher than its predecessor, the P1PH6 – and robust optics, the sensor reliably detects objects even under the most adverse conditions.
An optionally available dust extraction tube provides additional protection against chips and contamination and significantly increases the service life of the sensor.

Intelligent light control for stable results

A special Highlights of the P1PH9 is its dynamic transmitted light control. The sensor automatically adjusts the light intensity in four stages to the reflection of the object – ideal for applications with shiny, dark or highly reflective materials.

Whether a light-colored wooden surface or a reflective safety vest in the background – the sensor reacts immediately and keeps the switching stability constant. This automatic adjustment ensures maximum process reliability and prevents incorrect switching.

Simple integration and quick initial start-up

The P1PH9 is part of the PNG//smart family and impresses with its well thought-out, practical design:
